DEVELOPING STORY.......

Dominica Police Placed Tomatae Skerrit under house arrest just after 7:47 am Saturday morning September 3, 2023 after 2 decades of sitting idle witnessing rigging of elections, misuse of public funds & victimization of Dominicans. The Acting Police Commissioner executed the move in conjunction with Tomatae Skerrit out going appointed "ceremonial" President and a police raid at his residence that took place four hours earlier where they found over 2.2 billion dollars packed in a hidden bedroom. The top cop said that he made a decision to take back the country in lieu to stop the Island without a basic economic plan from going over a steep presipice while one man transform himself into a British or French Royal. Coups that have taking place in west and central Africa have suddenly made port-of-call in the nature Island of the Caribbean. It appears that the Acting Police Commissioner may have taken a page from the Gabon Coup playbook and applied it to Tomatae Skerrit dictatorship.

The President announced that the first order of business on Monday morning in addition to initiating Tomatae Skerrit prosecution is to secure a extradition court order from Caribbean Court of Justice (CCJ). This court order would facilitate an audit and transfer of all assets held overseas under the following names including Tomatae Skerrit, MMC, and The Government of Dominica to be repatriated to the people of Dominica. The second order of business is to implement election reform including voter ID cards and recommendations mandated by a multi-party consensus in preparation for another election that will take place before January 2024.

Youths in many countries throughout history have always managed to topple their oppressive governments by taking an innovative stance which no one sees coming. These movements usually starts with a basic decision to fight for a well defined cause or goal, followed up with a multi-prong approach plan to meet their goals or objectives, mindset cultivations of the masses through catchy gimmicks or phrases, a call to action plan, and the execution of the call to action plan by the masses if need be. Bob Marley "Catch a Fire" was instrumental in assisting the apartheid struggle in South Africa. Key installations sites and government equipment where repeatedly burnt down to the ground leaving the minority ruling class helpless who had nuclear weapons at their disposal in an ongoing war.

Dominica's youths have taken to the airwaves and social media vowing to take back their country by any means necessary. These youths claim that recent marches held by their elders are completely ineffective. They are waking up and are coming of age with many of them born under a Tomatae Skerrit Government which may of played significant a role in this recent move made by the Police Commissioner & President.

United Workers Party (UWP) Opposition Leader has praised the move and reiterated that Dominicans once again managed to choose and excercise freedom just as their ancestors did 400 years ago from the British and French. He said our ancestors would be proud of what just took place.

There is a large gathering taking place in Roseau ironically with Jubilant Labor Party supporters celebrating freedom and the demise of there very own leader which they have supported fearfully for the past two decades. People are coming out from under their rocks and out of their shells celebrating a new day in Dominica with new hopes for the country. Many die hard Labour Party supporters are coming out and admitting that they simply went along with Tomatae Skerrit rule because they didn't want to be victimized or put out on the street from their apartment which they received from his Government.

These are serious charges brought to a Prime Minister who is currently chairman of the Caribbean. It is for certain that most Dominicans will not doubt any of the charges brought against Tomatae Skerrit in this story nor will there be any lack of evidence. However, it remains to be seen how this story will resignate with other Caribbean heads of state and the Caribbean Court of Justice as this story is the first in the Caribbean that didn't occur.
